About

My name is Joey Skaran and I am a nature & wildlife photographer from Washington state. I first discovered my interest in birdwatching in 2023 after seeing a family of American Robins outside of my bedroom window, but it wasn’t until 2025 when I found my passion for photography.

I am primarily experienced in photographing birds in their natural habitat, although I wish to branch out to shooting more mammals in the future as well.
